I don’t want you to become a “good Ayurveda gi

I don’t want you to become a “good Ayurveda girl.” I don’t want you to be afraid of eating tomatoes. 😂 Or carrying around 47 wellness rules about what your mind-body type is “allowed” to eat. Trust me, I tried that route, and it only leads to more of the same.

I want you to be so awake to your body and your heart, that you can actually LISTEN to what they are telling you. And after 20+ years of supporting women to access their inner wisdom - I can promise you - your body will always lead you to love.

At The Shakti School, we teach ancient Ayurveda for the REAL modern woman: hormones, nervous system, digestion, aging, relationships, purpose and a big side of healthy pleasure.

Because Ayurveda shouldn’t make you more afraid of life.
It should make you more ALIVE. 🔥

The Ayurveda Health Coach Certification is enrolling now with deep discounts that end soon!

Want a taste of The Shakti School right now? Comment FLOW and we’ll send you the free replay of my recent class, Hormones & The Feminine Lymphatic System in Ayurveda. 🌊

Sometimes the anxiety isn't coming from the boundary.

It's coming from an old part of you that learned saying yes was the only way to stay safe, loved or needed.

Healing isn't becoming someone who never feels guilty. Healing is becoming someone who can feel the discomfort, and still choose the loving truth.

Feminine-Form Ayurveda reminds us that healing isn't something we force. It unfolds when we restore our relationship with prana, awareness and the wisdom already living within our body.

Think of ojas (OH-JUS) as the container that holds

Think of ojas (OH-JUS) as the container that holds your abundant energy. It is the ultimate energy reserve of the body and mind. It is the purest essence of kapha, and physically, it is related to reproductive, hormonal and cerebrospinal fluids.

I love the metaphor of ojas as the body’s natural honey; it is the delicate and refined essence we produce from the plants and other vital essences we take in. Ojas is the force that enables us to sustain that change over time.

Think of it as your psychophysical container or shield. These days, everyone needs a little more support in the realm of ojas.

Here is a recipe for building and conserving your vital energy (ojas):

• Go organic—Eat foods that are organic, in season and, when possible, local.
• Cleanse and purify, then rebuild and renew. Reduce ama before adding heavy, ojas-building foods.
• Avoid overeating—This depletes your digestive fire.
• Avoid excess stimulation while eating—If you want to build your core vitality, don’t watch the evening news during dinner or eat lunch in front of your computer.
• Rest—Sleeping eight hours at night is paramount for building ojas. Rest also means taking a break from constant “doing” to relax and deeply unwind.
• Oil your outer body.
• Oil your inner body - Yes, that’s right. Drinking and eating more oils boosts ojas. Incorporate more oils such as hemp, flax, avocado, coconut and ghee into your diet.
• Say no to vampires—Avoid the people, places, and media that disturb your mind and/or suck your soul blood.
• Spend more time in nature.
• Rest your mind.
• Do nasya.
• Do restorative yoga.
• Love the one you’re with—any form of genuine love and devotion boosts your core vitality and immune system.

If you've been waiting for a sign to begin your Ayurveda journey, this might just be it. 🍯 Early Bird pricing for our 2027 Ayurvedic Wellness Coach Certification Training ends next month, and we'd love to welcome you into this beautiful community.
